Have you heard of a village named Ebauche? It may not exist now, but... that's where I was born! I had lots of siblings, but we were awful poor. I was small and frail, so my family shunned me.
"You're useless. You're an idiot. I wish you'd disappear."
In the end, since bad things kept happening 'cos of me or whatever... they tattooed my face with this mark of the devil and drove me out of the village. I was alone in the dark forest and I thought I might die... but then I saw these golden lights. The drops of light came into my body, and then something happened in my head. I felt like I could understand all kinds of things.
